The Office of Fellowship Training invites you to attend a series of talks by Dr. Jordan Kreidberg on how to initiate and conduct a search for a job in academic research.  Issues to be discussed will include: what types of jobs to search for, how to apply in an advertised formal job search, how to network to find unadvertised jobs, how to prepare a statement of future research plans, how to prepare and give a job talk, how to prepare for interviews and a job visit, how to negotiate a faculty-level position.

Please also remember that the Office of Fellowship Training organizes practice job talks for fellows who are initiating job searches during which fellows may practice their job talk and receive critiques from faculty.  If you are interested, please contact Lu-Ann Pozzi (fellows.office@childrens.harvard.edu) at the OFT.
